// the problem
One auction, two kinds of buyer
Agricultural auctions now have bidders on the floor and online at the same moment. The auctioneer, buyers and sellers all need to see the same lot and the same bid in real time, and invoices have to go out to buyers and sellers afterwards without a day of admin.
// what was built
A complete auction platform
A web application that runs the whole auction, from listing the lots to the final invoice.
- Live bidding and clock (Dutch) auctions
- Online bidders alongside floor bidders
- Photos and live video of lots straight from a cellphone
- Invoices for buyers and sellers
- SMS notifications
- Full admin panel for the auctioneer
- Bilingual screens
// the result
Faster auctions, easier control
The auction runs faster, the auctioneer has full control from one panel, and buyers and sellers can take part online.
Built in three months, this system shows what Rudie's experience and AI development achieve together: a platform that would have taken a team a year, delivered by one developer.
